Job Description
Principal Responsibilities
To take a leading role in all aspects of running hotel valuations and feasibility studies (alongside Lead Partner)
To take the lead in the preparation of hotel consultancy reports, including valuation, feasibility studies and market research (market analysis, competitive analysis, supply/demand analysis, etc);
Assist the Lead Partner in managing the processes related to the above-mentioned services, including planning, related administration, staffing, work assignments, rotations, managing employee vacations, back-ups, and delivery to the client.
Review, comment and authorize the valuation reports or other outcomes of the V&A department before the review by the Lead Partner
Responsible for meeting department productivity and quality goals (alongside Lead Partner)
Conduct interviews, hire new staff, provide employee orientation, coach and provide career development to more junior staff
Take a leading role in sourcing new opportunities for Operator Selection service line in Poland and rest of the region
To take active responsibility for sourcing new business, growing contact network, cultivating own clients and identifying target assets.
Attend industry events to support the team profile in the market and seek to grow your network of contacts
Identify potential cross-selling opportunities
Assist staff to solve complex or out of the policy operation problems
Contribute to meeting overall departmental fee/billing target
Assist in maintaining the team's in-house databases, preparing research publications focused on the CEE and SEE regions, and updating and optimizing current in-house processes.
Quality Management – responsible for quality improvements and client’s feedback
Knowledge & Experience
Polish Property Valuer license
7-10 years of relevant experience in real estate valuation or brokerage or consultancy, banking/finance, hotel development/feasibility, or similar.
Hotel Valuation knowledge following RICS guidelines and standards.
Hotel sector knowledge concerning the nature of brands, management companies, investors and the latest trends affecting the industry is a distinct advantage.
High proficiency using Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills (including DCF modelling, IRR analysis, payback period, equity returns analysis etc).
RICS membership would be a string advantage
Personal attributes
Confident and personable, with good interpersonal skills.
Good commercial aptitude including selling and negotiation skills
Strong time management skills
Business and report writing experience
Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel
Excellent command of written/verbal English and Polish languages
