We’re looking for a Yard Lead for our Abu Dhabi location to oversee & coordinate all daily yard activities.
Detailed description: To ensure that yard operations are run in accordance with company policies and procedures with regards to personnel, equipment, QHSE and customer relations.

Minimize equipment that is under repair and awaiting inspection ensuring maximum availability at all times adhering to predetermined regional target. Sustain Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) within Depot at all times.Ensure all service related documentation is completed inline with Aggreko procedures and process maps. Identify common repeat failures on equipment to prevent reoccurrence using available data and resources and communicate to Area Service Manager where unable to resolve.Management of Yard based technicians to ensure servicing and repairs are carried out on time and to the highest quality. Management of CDH inventory to minimise damages or losses. Management of fleet availability, and working with other teams to support MENA fleet availability.Provide technical support to clients and internal teams where applicable. Proactively manage manpower planning to ensure maximum productivity is achieved with the resources available.Conduct regular inspections of equipment within the yard to ensure they are stored effectively and Ready to Hire. Conduct induction, performance appraisal, development and training of direct reports.Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence activities. Aggreko places a strong emphasis on Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental protection. Higher Education qualification in Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent qualificationsMinimum Five years of experience in Power generation or other related fieldsHas extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical or electrical field or bothAvailability to travel as and when requiredPossession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the businessDepot based job but requires frequent visits to the sitesDesired Skills
Effective communication skills. Fluent command of English language, spoken and writtenExperience in Service Mobility ERP System is desired. Effective planning organizational and time management skills.Ability to empathize and understand perspectives of others. Good Keyboard skills and Computer literateTo be able to communicate effectively with customers when required. High level of commitment and loyaltyQuality oriented with attention to details and capable of working to deadlines.
