Essential Responsibilities
Interface with end users and service providers to support customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, monitoring & diagnostics, non-conformances identified, and fleet configuration.
Coordinate Industrial Repair Limits technical clarifications during refurbishment of LM2500 and LM6000 Gas Turbines for all stages of engine overhaul: workscope discussions, engine disassembly, non conformance hardware disposition, configuration management, component repair, supply chain support, engine assembly, and engine test to include performance analysis.
Provide technical leadership while working with GE organizations such as Product Support engineering, design engineering, manufacturing, tooling development, sourcing, global engineering, systems engineering to support fleet experience and outage management.
Interface with GEA repair team and overhaul shops to evaluate component repair. Support includes workscope development and evaluation for the parts removed from disassembled engines, and drive a focus on repairs to meet quality, time and cost targets.
Qualifications/Requirements
This role requires relevant experience in Engineering/Technology & Fleet Management
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Aeroderivative or industrial gas turbine experience in operations, design or repair
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired CharacteristicsFamiliarity with manufacturing processes, TOPS8D processes, RCAs, etc
Ability to drive projects to completion

Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
