Deposit Transaction Specialist II

Summary: The Deposit Transaction Specialist – Level II provides a wide range of support to Deposit Operations as a whole and all other First State Bank departments. Providing direction and working towards innovation within the department. This includes but is not limited to: new account review processes, transactional review, deposit & CIF maintenance as well as audit preparation. Responsibilities: + Process Transactions and Monitor Files + Perform Account Maintenance + Manage, Maintain & seek to improve Processes & Procedures + Work with vendors to troubleshoot errors & find process improvements + Provide Audit and Compliance Support Other Job Duties + Participate in Training initiatives + Conduct Account research + Perform Annual deposit account processes Qualifications Education/Experience: + High School diploma or equivalent. + Previous bank experience is preferred, or 3-5 years related experience or equivalent Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: + Customer and Personal Service -- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction + English Language -- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. + Mathematics -- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. + Effective interpersonal relationships with management and team members; + Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately; + A thorough understanding and application of all policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to the work of a Deposit Operations Specialist; + Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals; + Ability to effectively manage time as related to daily tasks; + Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form; and + Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a high pressure environment while maintaining professional demeanor.
