Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for to join our team of qualified Deployable Logistics Management Analyst 2 diverse individuals within our organization. This role is located in Edwards AFB, CA.
Description
The Logistics Management Analyst will control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements.Ensures customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to meet marketing and financial objectives.Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.Build relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives. Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.Basic Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent and 7 years of relevant logistics management experience or a Bachelors degree and 2 years experience; or a Masters degree. and 0 years experienceExperience in Aviation and Aerospace technical data, have technical aptitude for large mechanical/chemical materials, and able to collaborate in a team environment.Experience in procurement and the use of SAP.Experience in team dynamics, exceptional written and oral communication skills.Must be able to work in an approved environment during specified work hours and will frequently move and position objects weighing 30-50 lbs. overhead.Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements.Must meet medical requirements and vaccinations for worldwide travelMust have an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)Preferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Top Secret ClearanceBachelor’s degree in logistic related field with experience in mobility and load planning.Strong experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Primary Level Salary Range: $67,100.00 - $100,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
