We have a unique opportunity to become a  Dependency and Recovery Coordinator. With this role you’ll be working as part of Dependency and Recovery team, based in Warwickshire. The team supports people with their drug and/or alcohol issues.

 

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key. You’ll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.

 

Where: Warwickshire - The successful candidate is expected to cover two  sites: Leamington Justice centre and Nuneaton Justice centre

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Full time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 Dependent on experience, pro rata for part time hours

 

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. 

Responsibilities

About the role:

Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journeyProviding screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral;Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider communityPromoting carer, service user and community involvementProviding advocacy for access to partnership servicesWorking with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determinationCarry out comprehensive service user assessments, including asset mapping of community resources and develop individual recovery plansAct as main care coordinator overseeing assigned groups of service users, providing screening; asset mapping; comprehensive assessments; recovery planning (using motivational interviewing techniques) and reviews of care.

About you:

 

Excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.A commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with otherprofessions to achieve good outcomes for the service user groupAccomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competencyThe ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and to work to deadlines for the submission of informationEffective interpersonal skills with the ability to engage successfully with internal and external stakeholders at all levelsEmploy an empathetic and non-judgmental attitude towards service users and colleaguesShow commitment to facilitating positive outcomes for service users
