Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Designing, directing and teaching University courses at the 500 and 600 levels  Didactic teaching  Laboratory teaching  Human patient simulation teaching and assessment  Creating and delivering lectures  Writing and editing exam items  Creating examinations, performing key validation, and reporting exam results  Reporting course grades to the University Registrar  Assessing and supporting students  Performing comprehensive student evaluations  Providing remedial instruction, as needed  Mentoring first-year and senior students  Participating in Program activities as assigned by Program Directors  Committees  Administrative activities  Admissions, including reviewing applications and interviewing  Participating in the Program’s comprehensive examination system  Writing, editing, and reviewing comp exam items  Creating examination blueprints  Performing key validation  Engaging in other Program activities  Contribute to technical and scientific developments in the Program through teaching and mentoring  Help prepare the students for board examinations and national certification  Participate in School of Medicine and University activities  

Contribute to additional educational needs of the Department of Anesthesiology research
