In this role, a typical day will include:
- Account Management - Invest appropriately on promotional activities by professional/doctors (sampling, seminars, presentations etc.) generate more recommendation/sales and improve company’s profitability
- Annual sales target in assigned territory & Demand Creation
- Calling on doctors to detail clear and effectively our key products according to the promotional grid to motivate all customers to recommend them. Visit doctors’ clinics, hospitals and pharmacies based on business potential to achieve pre-set objectives. End results the position will be expected to deliver are: sales and market share target achievement Call Planning
- Weekly and/or monthly call planning must be prepared based on account classification by business potential, territory alignment, travel scheduling and market analysis. Pre and post call planning shall be prepared prior and after every call. Relationship with Customers
- Keep close and good relationship with all accounts to generate more recommendation/sales as well as block entrance of competitors.
- Reporting - Prepare detailed reports on calls, business opportunities and competitor’s activities per professional/doctors (if available, Salesforce tool has to be used). Keep files of important documents and/or information and prepare expenses reports Respect of procedures and administrative duties
- Set time and place for reports, expenses, requests, directives, policies, correspondence and other paperwork. Set the priorities, sort and handle on time as agreed with Supervisor. Use and take care of company property as taking care of own property. Control expenses and avoid the unnecessary ones not related to sales promotion.
- To meet Pharmacovigilance and Medical Device Vigilance requirements, including adverse events, events of special interest and product complaints reporting to the Local Vigilance Representatives.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Preferable sales experiences from Pharma industry or cosmetics and other similar business
- Experience with high-quality, original products, instead of cheap products
- Positive attitude, team player, open-minded, motivated to build something big
- English at a communicative level is preferred, not mandatory
