Job Description
As a Dentist, you are responsible for providing sensitive, quality health care and related services targeted to patients requiring treatment for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases. The role involves supporting the organization's goal in delivering care to straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities in all their diversity, regardless of their immediate ability to pay. The Dentist is responsible for screening, diagnosing, and treating patients, ensuring care is given in a sensitive and non-judgmental manner. You will make appropriate referrals both internally and externally and are expected to maintain a high degree of professional competence and behavior while adhering to the highest ethical standards.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive dental care and wellness services.Perform screenings, diagnoses, and treatments for patients.Educate patients on oral hygiene and health practices.Adhere to dental protocols and ensure patient confidentiality according to HIPAA standards.Make referrals and consultations utilizing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic modalities.Maintain accurate medical history records using EMR systems.Participate in quality improvement initiatives.Essential SkillsThree years of direct clinical practice experience.DDS or DMD licensure in FL (active, in good standing).Active Dental Board License in FL.Current malpractice insurance.Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.Valid driver's license.Work Environment
The position is 100% onsite in a dental practice/clinic, working Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8am to 6pm (27 hours per week).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $208000.00 - $218400.00/yr.
