Job Description

As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing sensitive and quality health care services, specifically targeting patients requiring treatment for HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Your role is to support the organization's mission in delivering care to diverse communities, including straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals, regardless of their immediate ability to pay. You will be tasked with screening, diagnosing, and treating patients while maintaining a non-judgmental and sensitive approach. Additionally, you will be responsible for making appropriate referrals and upholding professional competence and ethical standards.

ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive dental care and wellness services.Screen, diagnose, and treat patients with HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, and STDs.Ensure quality improvement and patient education.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.Utilize both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.Consult and make appropriate internal and external referrals.Maintain professional competence and ethical behavior.Essential SkillsExperience in comprehensive care, dental wellness, and oral hygiene.Proficiency in dental protocols and patient care.Effective communication and bedside manner.Strong understanding of medical history and EMR systems.Competence in quality improvement and patient education.Adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsValid driver's license.DDS or DMD licensure in FL (active, in good standing).Active Dental Board License in FL.Current Malpractice insurance.Three years of direct clinical practice.Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in a dental practice/clinic. Work hours are Mondays to Thursdays from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $208000.00 - $218400.00/yr.
