This part-time position provides hands-on assistance and small group workshops focused on radiography, instrumentation technique, periodontal and dental assessments, vital signs, and medical history review. The facilitator helps students reinforce clinical skills outside of formal assessments and grading, fostering confidence and competence through guided practice. Specific Duties and Responsibilities SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Conduct Clinical Skills Workshops + Provide One-on-One Skill Remediation + Identify Skill Gaps During Sessions + Collaborate with Program Faculty + Promote Ergonomics and Safe Practice OVERALL PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITY: The primary and most important overall responsibility of all employees is to provide service in a pleasant, helpful, and effective manner to our students and other members of the College community. Minimum Qualifications Education Required: Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor’s preferred). Experience Required: + Three years of recent professional experience in clinical practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist. + Education background must include course work in educational methodology and pedagogy. + Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
