Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures by providing chairside support.Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials needed for dental procedures.Take and process dental X-rays.Record patient medical history and treatment information in electronic health records.Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited dental assistant program.Current Dental Assistant certification in the state of South Dakota.X-ray certification preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare setting.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience.Familiarity with electronic health records.Experience with pediatric and general dentistry is a plus.
