Demand Planning Coordinator

Job Details:

This position is responsible for a variety of activities including demand forecast analytics, special project support, customer collaboration support, Sales & Operations Planning reporting and process adherence.

Key Responsabilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the rolling 12 month item level Demand forecast for a given business.Responsible for maintaining Forecast Accuracy results at item level and, supporting related fill rate.Based on forecast, calculate the inventory quantities needed for optimal operation.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand all impacts to the forecast, including promotions, seasonality, customer behavior (pricing/distribution/etc).With Manager support, facilitate monthly Demand meetings with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain partners.Execute daily analysis and reporting on Demand performance, providing critical intelligence on business history, trends, and future assumptions.Possible reporting responsibilities include: Generate a variety of demand planning reports and provide analysis for multiple S&OP meetings each month; Monitor S&OP process adherence and identify continuous improvement opportunities; Support monthly Customer Collaboration meetings.Generate timely ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.Support special projects and demand planning initiatives.Support cross functional team members with data necessary for regular collaboration conference calls with key customers to drive supply chain efficiencies.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: BS or BA preferred.Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience as Demand Planner Coordinator/AnalystExcellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills are necessary.Strong organization skills and ability to effectively multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is required.Experienced in Food industry preferent.Fluent in English.
