We are seeking a Demand Planning Coodinator to be accountable for the demand planning process and all sources of demand for products, equipment and services in the area of responsibility (division, region, etc.). You will own the demand planning process through interaction with Finance, Marketing, and Sales. As the owner of the demand planning process, you are accountable to lead and coach the demand planners, monitor the performance of this process and continually improve the output and accuracy. Also, you will interact with the Supply Planning team to manage the supply/demand balance.

What You Will Do:
Manage, train and coach the demand planners to drive continuous improvement of the demand planning process
Identify and implement best practices to improve forecast accuracy. Work with IT, Marketing and Sales to improve inputs to the process
Leads the Demand Planning Meetings (depending on level of meeting and location)
Manage supply/demand balance in collaboration with Supply Planning Manager when there is abnormal demand when supply issues arise and when customer requirements are truly outside capability of supply chain to deliver
Drive collaboration with Sales and Marketing to incorporate current long-term market intelligence into demand plan at product, customer market levels develop document update assumptions supporting development various scenarios
Drive collaboration with Marketing incorporate new product introductions product conversions product deactivations into plan
Drive improvement forecast assumptions exception management root cause analysis identify forecast deviations issues
Monitor performance (forecast error accuracy bias) measuring actual versus planned performance multiple levels work collaborators improve
Challenge sales marketing assumptions significant deviations occur between based revenue plan business plans
Represent part S&OP process (depending level meeting location)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Supply Chain related field study
7+ years experience Demand Planning Marketing Finance Sales Supply Planning
3+ years leading/managing teams
Proficiency ERP advanced planning system analytical system equivalent
Strong communication skills ability build consensus stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
APICS Certification/formal business degree MBA
Lean Six Sigma project experience Green Belt
Strong leadership communication analytical problem-solving skills drive decisions build consensus stakeholders
Strong business acumen experience divisions markets customers products plan
