Your assignment: **Analyst/Problem Solver** + Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisionsand tactics. + Manage statistical forecast exceptions by utilizing demand-planning exception reports to identify and fix potentialissues. + Collect past/future demand factors (distribution gains/losses, price changes, new/discontinued products andpromotion plans, for example) from sales and marketing and forecast/model their impacts on demand. + Interact with sales, marketing and operations to understand and interpret the potential impact market trends anddemand drivers can have on demand and adjust the statistical forecast to reflect those impacts. **Systems Expert** + Use and maintain current demand-planning systems including where applicable the statistical forecast (APO DP:proposed based forecast). + Familiarity with the Standard Demand Planning system features like: ABC-XYZ segmentation and forecastingstrategies, best-fit/what-if analysis, class/characteristic identification, aggregation/disaggregation, etc. (depending ontimeline of IBP DP implementation) **Communicator/Reporter** + Determine and communicate forecast range, with consensus demand, potential upside opportunity and downsiderisk, to the demand management. + Develop, monitor and communicate reports on changes and forecast accuracy to business unit and supply chainorganizations, while driving continuous improvement. + Measure, analyze and report key process metrics and monitor adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) **Process Improver** + Make recommendations to enhance business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies Your profile: + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or similar + Strong mathematical/statistical abilities. + Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. + Experience working with SAP DP and with Business Intelligence reports + Minimum six years experience on demand management + Hands-on experience with modeling, forecasting, analysis and simulation tools. + Experience in SCM and S&OP process + Knowledge of forecasting processes in sales, marketing, finance and manufacturing. + Worked in a team-based environment + Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook + Experience working with SAP APO and with Business Intelligence reports + Fluent in Spanish and English both written and spoken; Portuguese optional + Willingness to travel
