Summary
The Supply Chain Order Management Specialist is responsible for managing the release, validation, and execution of orders across multiple distribution centers. This role ensures that orders meet weight and demand requirements while optimizing seasonal backorders to improve logistics efficiency. The specialist will also oversee the demand review process, truck-building strategies, and order execution for various seasonal and backup order cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Validation
• Release and validate orders based on demand across 16 distribution centers.
• Adjust and optimize orders by removing constrained items and ensuring minimum weight requirements are met.
• Integrate seasonal backorders to minimize Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments and optimize freight efficiency.
Order Execution & Flow
• Ensure the correct flow of new items to Accounts Receivable (AR) for order execution.
• Process backup orders by distribution center (DC).
Dmand Review & Truck Building
• Review demand by item per distribution center and build trucks to meet weight requirements and delivery schedules.
• Optimize truck-building processes for major seasonal events, including:
• Summer
• Halloween
• Holiday Season
• Valentine’s Day
• Easter

Experience
