About the role:
Caterpillar’s Remanufacturing Division is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Demand & Orders Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll serve as a key liaison for customer inquiries, providing expert guidance on order lead times and configuration changes. You’ll take ownership of the entire order process from intake to modification ensuring requests are accurately received and processed within our order systems. Beyond customer support, you’ll play a critical role in managing incoming supply in alignment with production plans, coordinating with a wide range of internal and external suppliers. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and planning teams to drive efficiency and support smooth facility operations.

What you will do:

Supervise and control new sales orders, identifying the key elements and communicate downstream for required actions.Audit order change requests from customers, evaluate acceptance of the order change request from a material, production plan, technical and logistics perspective.Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries; providing feedback about lead time, planned timeline, order change, order reschedules, etc.Align customers order with Sales production plan to achieve the monthly goal.Will be the primary contact with other departments to manage sales and customer priorities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree is desired

Data Gathering & Analysis: Working knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes ; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Working knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.Analytical Thinking: Working knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.Effective Communications: Working understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Problem Solving: Working knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or processes problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Demand Management: Working knowledge of processes and methods of Demand Management; ability to effectively sense, predict, plan for and manage the demand for products and services.Forecasting: Working knowledge of forecasting tools, approaches and practices; ability to determine product demand and estimate production requirements and loads.  
 

Top Candidates Will Have:

SAP experience.Microsoft ExcelExperience working with external vendors/suppliers.

Summary Pay Range:

$71,040.00 - $106,440.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
