Caterpillar is seeking a Demand and Orders Analyst in Athens, GA. In this role, you will serve as the facility expert on matters related to machine orders and attachment Planning. Evaluates orders, identifies compatibility problems and maintains order data integrity.

Creating and managing production schedules based on forecasts, capacity, and material availabilityManaging the order process from entry to fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveryIdentifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiencyServing as primary contact for customer inquiries; providing feedback about lead time, planned timeline, order change, order rescheduling, etc.

Effective Communications: Understanding effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsCollege or university degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, is requiredExcellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communication skillsSolid product knowledge and excellent SAP transactional knowledgeThorough understanding of company policies and proceduresAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and effective time managementExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersHands-on experience with ERP systems e.g., SAP & data analysis tools e.g., Excel, Power BI

The primary location for this position is Athens, GA.

Summary Pay Range:

$79,800.00 - $119,760.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
