DeltaV Automation Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain control systems in life sciences manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DeltaV systems, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial automation technologies, with a focus on regulatory compliance and system optimization.
Location: Lansdale, PA
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design, program, and configure DeltaV systems, PLCs, SCADA, and related automation software.
+ Provide technical support to internal teams, customers, and stakeholders.
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures.
+ Implement automation strategies for industrial process control systems.
+ Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems to ensure optimal performance.
+ Participate in project management activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
+ Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
+ Apply industry best practices, standards, and procedures in automation system design and implementation.
+ Support integration between Data Historians, Control Systems, and MES platforms.
+ Stay current with evolving automation technologies and trends.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science, Bio-Process Engineering, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in automation within life sciences manufacturing.
+ Proficiency in DeltaV, PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation software.
+ Strong understanding of process control systems and automation strategies.
+ Experience with regulatory compliance in GMP environments.
+ Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation.
+ Familiarity with MES and Data Historian integration.
+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Project coordination and time management skills.
