Job Description A food distribution software company is looking for a local Delphi Developer to sit in Branford, CT. This person is going to responsible for designing, maintaining and optimizing the Windows-based applications. This role requires an understanding of the SDLC, Object Oriented Programming, and MVC and Programming Interfaces. This person should also have in depth experience with SQL, PostgreSQL and have the ability to analyze, optimize and maintain both code and queries. This person is going to be working on the client's primary application that helps manage customers, inventory management, orders, quotes, AR, purchasing and security management. They will be adding new features as well as maintain areas of the application that are not changing. Skills and Requirements 7-10 years of experience working as a C# or Delphi Developer Experience designing, developing and maintaining Windows-based applications Hands on experience with SQL, including query writing and performance optimization Experience collaborating with QA and DevOps teams to support automated testing, deployment, and monitoring Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices. Background in the food distribution, logistics, or supply chain industry.
