Delivery Specialist - Calimesa, CA $18.05 - $26.60 / hour **Overall Job Summary** The Delivery Specialist is responsible for delivering purchased merchandise to customers within the assigned market while meeting delivery and quality standards. The Delivery Specialist will deliver Legendary Customer Experience through building trusted relationships, offering seasoned advice, ensuring safe delivery of the product, resolving problems and handling product returns as required. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)** + Ensure timely deliveries, meeting or exceeding scheduled delivery times. + Load, unload, and organize products in a safe and efficient manner. + Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safety and readiness of the delivery vehicle. + Maintain an accurate record of deliveries and any issues that may arise. + Communicate with customers as necessary, providing updates or addressing any concerns during the delivery process. + Provide exceptional customer service, creating a positive and friendly experience for all customers. + Handle all products with care to avoid damage and ensure safe transport. + Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices. + Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. + Handle returns, exchanges, or customer inquiries as needed. **Required Qualifications** _Experience:_ Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required. _Education:_ High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). _Professional Certifications:_ None **Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities** + A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. + Ability to drive a delivery vehicle (truck, van, etc.) safely and efficiently. + Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. + Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly attitude. + Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50+ lbs., as required by the job). + Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps. + Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required. **Working Conditions** + Hybrid / Flexible working conditions + Working at stores sometimes outside in inclement weather. **Physical Requirements** + Sitting + Standing (not walking) + Walking + Kneeling/Stooping/Bending + Driving a vehicle + Reaching overhead + Lifting 50+ pounds **Disclaimer** _This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
