What You'll Do
As a Deloitte Delivery Product Owner, Manager, you will be responsible for design, development, debugging, testing, deploying, and supporting custom AI applications and modules that meet business requirements.
Responsibilities:
+ Define and enforce best practices and coding standards across the project.
+ Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to established guidelines and maintain high code quality.
+ Working both independently and in close collaboration with others in the team
+ Communicating clear instructions to team members and help manage the flow of day-to-day operations
+ Communicating with the client on a regular basis
+ Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Python applications.
+ Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
+ Optimize code for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data handling.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
+ Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of applications.
+ Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and workflows.
+ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
The Team
Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office (TTO) is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of innovative, enterprise technology, tools, and standard processes to support the delivery of tax services. The TTO team focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient tax services to our clients. It is a dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds from tax technical, technology development, change management, Six Sigma, and project management. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving process and tool development and implementation including training development, engagement management, tool design, and implementation.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 - 3 days per week.
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in web development with strong hands-on experience using the FastAPI framework.
+ At least one-year hands-on experience on .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, Entity Framework 6 or above, Azure, Database performance tuning, Applying Design Patterns, Agile.
+ Demonstrated, advanced experience in prompt engineering, including prompt design, refinement, and evaluation to optimize LLM performance.
+ Proven hands-on experience working with multi-modal Gen AI models, including text-image, text-audio, or other cross-modal capabilities.
+ Experience with Pydantic for data validation and schema definition in Python applications.
+ Experience using LLMs to solve real-world problems and in developing agentic AI applications to enhance AI interaction.
+ Ability to travel up to 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:
+ Experience with modern agentic frameworks such as LangGraph.

+ Skilled in asynchronous and parallel programming, with practical knowledge of asyncio.
+ Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including experience working with vector databases and hybrid search.
+ Skill for writing reusable libraries.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong listening, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
+ Self-starter with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
+ Practical and pragmatic approach to balancing standardized processes with flexibility to meet project goals effectively.
+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, structure workload, and meet tight deadlines.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $122,430 to $259,200.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
