Delivery Manager I

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Delivery Manager to lead and manage the Production Support Service Delivery for an Enterprise Testing Platform infrastructure Operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience overseeing large-scale support operations, including managing a team of approximately 100+ resources, ensuring high-quality, stable, and efficient support services 24x7. This role requires deep expertise in IT Service Management, stakeholder communication, and delivery governance across distributed teams. We are seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead and manage our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role requires a strong blend of technical program management, client engagement, and delivery leadership to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical production systems. You will partner closely with customer stakeholders, SREs, and engineering teams to drive operational excellence, align with business priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Client & Stakeholder Management o Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution. o Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration. • Delivery Leadership o Oversee end-to-end delivery of SRE initiatives, ensuring adherence to SLAs, SLOs, and quality standards. o Drive continuous improvement in reliability, observability, scalability, and performance of systems. o Coordinate incident response, postmortems, and operational reviews with clear action tracking. • Team Management & Coaching o Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SREs, ensuring a culture of ownership, collaboration, and innovation. o Enable the team with the right tools, processes, and best practices in DevOps, automation, and observability. o Balance workload, prioritize initiatives, and ensure timely delivery against commitments. • Strategic & Operational Alignment o Translate customer business objectives into actionable engineering priorities. o Partner with software engineering and product teams to improve service reliability and accelerate feature delivery. o Drive adoption of automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud-native practices to scale effectively. Qualifications Required: • 8+ years of experience in IT/Technology, including 3+ years in a leadership/engagement management role. • Strong understanding of SRE/DevOps principles, practices, and modern infrastructure. • Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams delivering cloud-native or mission-critical services. • Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders, manage expectations, and communicate complex topics clearly. • Strong organizational, delivery, and problem-solving skills with a track record of managing large-scale programs. Preferred: • Background in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering prior to moving into management. • Experience working with high-traffic, distributed systems. • Good understanding on Splunk, modern observability, automation, and incident management practices. • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Agile/Program Management certifications (CSM, PMP, SAFe, etc.). Soft Skills • Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to balance technical depth with business alignment. • Proactive, outcome-driven mindset with a passion for reliability and continuous improvement. • Skilled in managing ambiguity and thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
