The Opportunity
We are looking for a Delivery Manager eager to lead ART and cross ARTs-focused initiatives, managing the delivery lifecycle to ensure alignment across engineering and business teams, with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies. This role is critical for driving delivery, tracking performance metrics, managing budget and risks, resolving blockers and dependencies, and communicating with key stakeholders and teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong agile project management experience, effective communication skills, a solid background in vendor oversight and a passion for agile ways of working.
Your upcoming mission:
Program Execution & Strategic Alignment: Lead Agile Release Train (ART) execution and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with Roche’s priorities, achieving key milestones, and maintaining a clear program-wide view.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive cross-functional alignment and performance by using data-driven insights to improve delivery efficiency across engineering and business teams.
Agile Best Practices & Compliance: Promote agile engineering best practices, supporting teams in areas like architecture, DevOps, testing, security, and regulatory compliance.
Stakeholder Management & Financial Oversight: Serve as the main liaison for stakeholders, providing transparent updates while tracking budgets, managing vendor contracts, and ensuring financial compliance.
Servant Leadership & Agile Facilitation: Act as a servant leader and, when needed, take on Scrum Master or RTE roles to foster a collaborative culture and enable continuous delivery of user value.
Who you are
8+ years in delivery management of a digital product with a focus on agile project management, ideally in the healthcare sector and 2+ years full-time experience as a Release Train Engineer.
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe RTE) preferred.
Interpersonal, problem-solving skills, compelling storytelling, presentation skills, and influencing abilities, the ability to recognize and aid the resolution of team and cross-team conflicts and impediments.
Tact, diplomacy, and cooperation skills as well as an attentive and empathic nature and ability to clearly communicate complex insights to stakeholders and ART members.
