The PositionAs a Delivery Management Intern, you will contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives within Digital Technology, a global organization that enables business strategy across all 3 divisions of Roche: Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics and Diabetes Care. As a member of the Delivery Management Chapter, you will be partnered with senior members in an Agile team such as Service Delivery Managers and Project Managers, executing on IT projects and taking accountability for the delivery, project management, governance and continuous improvement of services associated with one or more products (technology solutions).
The Opportunity:
In this internship, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of dynamic areas that will improve your development and build your business acumen. These areas include Data Science & Machine Learning, Commercial Data & Insights, Medical Analytics & Productivity Tools, Disease Area Strategy, Advanced Therapies & Medical Products, Medical Affairs & Clinical Trials, Marketing Planning & Automation, Patient Engagement & Retention, and Technical Operations & IT Infrastructure.
Assist project managers in planning, driving, and supervising IT projects, including developing project plans, timelines, prioritisation, and risk management.
Coordinate project communications and stakeholder engagement, ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Collaborate with teams to deliver projects using Agile methodologies, participate in daily stand-up meetings, and provide updates on project progress and impediments.
Ensure smooth IT service delivery to end-users, coordinate incident and problem management, and document standard operating procedures and best practices.
Participate in and drive various IT community building events, Roche Canada corporate events and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities throughout your term.
Who you are:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience program (Bachelor’s degree) with a Co-op component (preferably in the Computer Science, Information Technology, Business IT, Computer Engineering, Business Technology Management field.
Must have completed at least 2 years of academic study.
Demonstrates problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and familiarity with Google suite components. Possesses strong listening, written, and verbal communication abilities.
Enjoys collaborating with large cross-functional global teams in an Agile environment.
Shows a desire to learn more in IT Project Management, Delivery, and IT Service Management. Has the strive to work autonomously, navigate roadblocks, and implement innovative IT business solutions.
Additional Information
This position is a 8 or 12 month work term (full-time) and will begin January 2026.
Position based in Mississauga, ON.
Our team follows a hybrid work structure (minimum 3 days in the office).
