European Merchant Technology is responsible for European POS & Terminal platforms; Gateway solutions; Boarding & Servicing; Acquiring and Issuing platforms across Europe. 

 

The Delivery Lead (Europe Platforms) is a key role in our European Merchant Technology organisation with project and programme delivery responsibility for Europe and International region. The role is accountable for the successful planning and delivery of a portfolio of key strategic initiatives, technical programmes and projects. 

 

This role will work with the team but also with senior stakeholders, including function Executives and Platform leads (Engineering, Product, etc) to ensure priorities are continually aligned and that they are highly satisfied with delivery. 

 

The Delivery Lead (Europe Platforms) is also responsible for Management Operations at a European level - supporting the definition and execution of the European Merchant Technology Strategy. This involves driving quality executive reporting which provides top level highlights, successes, and tracks achievement of OKRS.  

 

Platform Delivery:

Build an effective delivery model collaborating with our partners in Product, TS & Engineering (incl. Intake process, project's governance, Jira administration ect.)

Ensure key demand is being delivered by your Platform teams and relevant changes are driven downstream

Drive planning & prioritisation, create roadmap, track value & success. Manage roadmap demand, create committed plans, track top level

Run high performing delivery teams, continue to evolve delivery practices and drive a culture of continuous improvement

Conduct high quality project management on key strategic initiatives  

Create and manage appropriate steering and governance to executive level

Resolve top level risks and issues

Be a single point of contact for Global payments project managers leading the projects impacting ZMS info resources

 

Management Operations: 

Responsible for Executive level management operations

Drive quality executive reporting which provides top level highlights, successes, and tracks achievement of OKRS

Manage top level risk management process

What do we expect from you:

Bachelor's Degree

10+ years of experience in project and program management

Personal: Self-motivator who will hit the ground running. Hold self to high standard.

Industry Expertise: Functional experience and expertise in technology programme change management. Project management qualification is a must. 

Planning & Delivery: Unparalleled record of delivery and execution against strategy. Proven experience in a high volume programme management role. Master of multi-tasking – capable of managing and switching between multiple areas and activities without losing speed. Manages change and uncertainty effectively.

Comms & Rel Mgmt: Excellent comms and relationship building skills across all teams and locations in an organisation.

Leadership: Drives individuals and teams across business units to deliver programmes and projects. Focuses others on execution.
