About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Systems Implementation and Support Engineer to join our team in the retail sector. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful deployment, integration, and ongoing support of IT systems across our retail operations. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and store personnel to deliver reliable and efficient technology solutions that enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and execute the implementation of IT systems in retail environments (POS systems, ERP, inventory management, etc.)Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across retail locationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure system compatibility with business needsMonitor system performance and proactively resolve potential issuesMaintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and support processesTrain end-users and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal system usageCoordinate with vendors and service providers for system upgrades, maintenance, and incident resolutionEnsure compliance with IT policies, data security standards, and industry best practices
Qualifications:2+ years of experience in IT support or systems implementation, preferably in the retail sectorStrong knowledge of retail IT systems (POS, ERP, CRM, etc.)Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments, networking, and system integrationExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS)Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management toolsScripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
