Delivery Improvement Lead
Specific AccountabilitiesTrain, support and coach skills delivery teams to improve teaching, learning and assessment practices. Collaborate with Operations Managers to implement improvements identified in performance reviews and internal quality processes.Develop and support curriculum build / improvement for skills programmes, using innovative delivery models and technologies. Maintaining curriculum meets the needs of Employers, Awarding Bodies, Commissioners and customers. Ensure that our programmes are inclusive and incorporate the use of technology to enhance delivery. Support with implementing and managing a range of training and assessment resources for skills programmes across different sector subject areas.Develop and implement wider curriculum requirements for learning programmes with a strong focus on contextualisation (examples, EDI, Fundamental British Values, Safeguarding, Prevent, Wellbeing) in line with personal development of learners/customers to equip them into employment.Quality assures learner work in line with maximus’ learner journey, awarding bodies and JCQ regulations. Undertake frequent observations of teaching and assessment practises, creating and implementing support plans to drive improvements.Influence change and drive continuous improvement across skills programmes using a range of data and outcomes.Contribute towards the development, implementation and monitoring of key documents, policies and procedures e.g. Self-Assessment Reports and Quality Improvement Plans. Occupational CPD for yourself and trainers is up to date and recorded.

Qualifications & ExperienceTeaching Assessor, IV and or Teaching qualification at L4 or above (TAQA, CTTLS, A1/V1)Direct experience of Ofsted, other inspections, that achieved a good, or outstanding gradeDirect experience of quality assuring skills programmes.Demonstrable experience of working with Awarding Organisations.Experience of observations of teaching, learning and assessmentExperience of improving teaching, learning and assessment practises.Experience of influencing positive change in Education programmes.Competency in delivery of English, Maths, Digital, and vocational programmes.Desirable Efficient in using MI Systems for Skills contracts. For example, online portfolios, Initial Assessment tools.Using Data to make decisions on Curriculum design and delivery.Excellent IT skills using O365 applications.Individual CompetenciesDevelop curriculum that meets the needs of geographical priorities, employers and learners, intent and impact of curriculum is clearUnderstand skills data to support improvement of delivery focus on:Improving deliveryOutstanding focusImpact on fundingImpact on the future curriculumDemonstrate an understanding of Education Inspection Framework and Inspection regimes, i.e. OfstedExcellent communicator with strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Good networking skills – ability to liaise at all levels. Plan, prioritise and implement workloads to timescales Self-motivated with a pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude Confident and enthusiastic Versatile and resilient - Ability to deal with challenging situations whilst remaining calm. Team player – Actively seeks to work in collaboration for others for the benefit of the team.Travel RequirementsWillingness to travel and work in devolved contract regions (applicable to contract award areas) in the UK (Essential) Full driving license and vehicle owner (Desirable)
