Delivery Excellence FinOps Analyst

The Delivery Excellence FinOps Analyst supports IT Infrastructure & Operations by managing the Procure-to-Pay process, ensuring accurate invoice and payment handling, and providing insights on IT and cloud costs. Reporting to the FinOps Lead Manager, the role also drives cost transparency, reporting, and process improvements. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with expertise in procurement, finance, and IT cost management.

 

As the Delivery Excellence FinOps Analyst under the area of Accounting & Finance, you will:

Manage the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process for IT services, ensuring accurate purchase orders, invoice processing, payments, and compliance with financial policies.

Collaborate with procurement, finance, and vendors to resolve discrepancies, allocate costs correctly, and maintain efficient payment workflows.

Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports on IT infrastructure, cloud costs, and vendor expenses to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.

Partner with vendors to validate billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and improve transparency in invoicing and financial tracking.

Conduct detailed billing data analysis, using financial tools to identify errors, track trends, and optimize cost allocation and reporting.

Identify and recommend opportunities for cost optimization while ensuring alignment with service agreements and contract terms.

Standardize and improve financial processes, driving efficiency, automation, and compliance across P2P, reporting, and vendor collaboration.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience, with solid foundation in Business/Finance.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a global environment, managing service providers in ordering and billing processes.

Proficient in English (Japanese language skills are an added advantage).

Skilled in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Internet Explorer).

Experienced in SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) module, including running basis queries.
