Summary Job title: Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate Job ID: 202555000004 Department: Brea - CWE Location: CA-Brea Description Summary: Job responsibilities: + Making deliveries to our customer base using a 12 ft stakebed truck + Loading the truck + Creating a shipping route and logging the information onto a route sheet + Informing manager of truck maintenance issues if issues arise + Warehousing + Pulling orders + Understanding how to use aisle locations to find products that are on our order sheets + Understanding how to use our staging shelves for orders that are not being shipped the same day + Receiving deliveries from vendors and pulling receiving reports + Some computer knowledge is preferred + Being able to input information into our software with some instruction + Shipping via Bill of Lading and UPS + Use of UPS Worldship software + Knowing how Bill of Lading works with LTL shipments + Putting stock material on the shelves + Be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance + Inventory + Counting/recording inventory counts once a year + Cycle counting + Proficiency with a forklift + Being able to drive the forklift safely while putting on/taking off pallets from our racking + Being able to change the propane in the forklift. A CDL endorsement is not required. Authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications: We seek a person who has some previous experience with warehouse. This warehouse is a small-operation, where you will be the warehouse and delivery person. The desire to work independently and make decisions is key to success Working Conditions: Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.
