Overview: Xerox Company, is seeking a Delivery Driver who will be responsible for loading, securing, delivering and basic set-up of equipment, while providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time opportunity delivering equipment throughout the Miami Lakes, FL area.
What You’ll Do:Operate an automatic box truck in a safe and timely manner, including daily inspection of the vehicleAbide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving recordLoad, deliver, install and collect equipment at various customer locations Provide excellent customer serviceProvide basic customer training on copiers, printers and other office technology equipment Perform general technical duties such as connecting equipment to networksAssist in other areas of the warehouse when needed
What You Need to Succeed:Valid Driver’s License with a relatively clean driving record One (1) or more years of experience driving a 16’ – 26’ box delivery truck preferred Ability to lift 50 – 75 lbs. Basic mechanical understanding preferredAbility to use smartphones and tablets Experience using Microsoft applications and the Internet Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
How We Set You Up for Success:Hands-on training of Xerox equipment and all aspects of the delivery driver role and responsibilities Job shadowing to thoroughly prepare you to make deliveries and perform installations independently Ongoing career development training
