What You will Do:

Responsible for leading the manufacturing operations for a large value stream within a product line platform for all aspects of manufacturing execution including execution to an MRP schedule, managing work-in-process to avoid aging work ordersMonitor MRP tools, Production schedules, WIP Tracker (shop floor), and non-conformances against delivery commit dates. Estimate / revise delivery dates.Has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the production organization concerned with the assembly and processing operations, including a thorough knowledge of manufacturing-related policies/procedures and quality and customer requirements.Identify bottlenecks, conduct gap analysis, create recovery plans, and track action items to closure.Liaises with internal customers and supply chain to understand their needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory service standards.Ability tread/interpret drawings including understanding of GD&T and critical characteristics (KPCs)Involvement with Process Planning and Production Readiness reviewsFamiliarity with Control Plans and Operating/Work InstructionsExposure to Lean methodologies and toolsBasic understanding with quality systems and industry standards compliance (including process and material certs)Periodic interface is required with both internal and external customers at the Rome, NY site including Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and follow-ups with the supply chain and value stream leadersLiaises with internal customers and supply chain to understand their needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory service standards.Delivery Assurance/Operations pulling together the Line of Balances (LOB) and summary charts for VSL to present at executive reviews

How You Will Get Here:

Experience in Delivery Assurance or Program Office for 2-4 yearsExperience working within AS9100, ISO9001 environmentsProficiency using MS office suiteSelf-motivated, disciplined, and organizedPassion for developing technical and business solutionsAbility to persuade and influence without authoritySuperior Customer/Supplier interactionExcellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000 a year


Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

 

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Rome, NYYou must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.


Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of this role, proof of US Citizenship is required upon hire.
