Delivery Assurance Field Representative - Italy
Job Requirements
Role Overview:

The Delivery Assurance Field Representative will be responsible for ensuring that supplier-produced Aero-Engine parts are delivered on time to meet the Customers Engine build schedule and spares requirement. Candidates must have the ability to identify Bottleneck/Capacity Constraints that will be used to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on-time delivery from suppliers. This Hybrid position requires aspects of Supply Chain management, procurement, manufacturing and quality assurance. Candidates must; be located in Northeast Italy, speak fluent Italian and English, possess a driving license and have the willingness to travel up to 40%.

The ideal candidate should have Aerospace Engineering knowledge, Supply Chain Management experience and firm grasp of Data Analysis with an advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities:Provide Supply Chain Management and Production Planning support for various OEM sites and suppliers primarily located in Italy but potentially throughout Europe.Drive to consistently pursue solutions to accomplish goals and objectives to satisfy our customer’s needs: requiring extraordinary determination, self-motivation and interpersonal skills.Communicating and working to remove barriers that prevent consistent achievement of business goals specific to the on-time delivery of parts to the Customer.Effectively driving tasks/projects to completion which includes Leading Indicator (LI) data collection:  RM availability and on order, WIP tracking, Quality Notification closures, and Sub-Tier Supplier tracking.Conduct detailed observations, collect data on parts and processes, and analyse the data to ensure On-Time-Delivery.Monitor MRP tools, production schedules, work-in-progress (WIP), and non-conformances against delivery commitment dates. Revise and estimate delivery dates as needed.Identify bottlenecks, conduct gap analysis, create mitigation plans, and manage action items through to closure.Develop positive working relationships with engineers, buyers, and program management teams at both OEM and supply base levels.Use advanced IT skills to cleanse, structure, and analyse raw data, improving team reporting and decision-making.Document, summarize, and present reports to meet customer requirements.

Work Experience
Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Quality, or Operations.Familiarity with part qualification processes (PPAP, FAI, RCCA), Operating Instructions, and Control Plans.Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills.Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Graphs, Data Cleansing).Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Forging, Casting, Assembly, Machining).Involvement with Process Planning and Production Readiness reviews.Exposure to Lean methodologies and tools.Knowledge of material packaging and handling.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.Ability to work independently or as part of a team and travel as needed.Prior aerospace industry experience is essential.
