PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Employee Development Specialist to partner with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in training, coaching, and developing employees who directly support world-class aerospace manufacturing operations. Your expertise will help ensure teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver excellence in every build.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-Time; Consultant (6 Months, possible extension)

Location: Everett, WA 98204 (Onsite, Building 40-31)

Schedule: Must be willing to work across all 3 shifts, based on training needs

Starting Pay: $44.10 /hour

Travel: Up to 20% domestic travel

What You’ll Do
As an Employee Development Specialist, you will:

Lead projects to design and deliver educational training programs.

Coach and mentor less experienced instructors to raise instructional standards.

Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to expand instructional capabilities.

Develop creative training tools including guided practices, job aids, and capstone projects.

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise on training needs and best practices.

Monitor, evaluate, and validate training effectiveness through observation, testing, and feedback.

Partner with engineers, curriculum developers, and learning advisors to create impactful learning experiences.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations or support.

Proven experience in employee coaching, training, or development.

Background in leadership development courseware and/or curriculum design.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and detailed work instructions.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
 

Preferred Qualifications

Aerospace Manufacturing and Lean certifications.

Experience in structural, electrical, repair, test, or systems-related work.

Hands-on mechanic experience in areas such as electrician, structures, wing/spar assembly.

Background in needs assessment and job analysis.

Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related experience (or equivalent).

Pay Details: $44.10 per hour
