**Your role at Clorox:**
The Deduction Manager within Order to Cash and Credit (OTC&C) process is responsible for overseeing the deduction management process, ensuring that all customer deductions, disputes, and chargebacks are reviewed, validated, and resolved efficiently. This role involves collaborating with internal Sales and Logistics teams, and external Managed Service Provider (MSP) to prevent, investigate, and resolve customer deductions timely and efficiently and reduce revenue leakage. This role will be responsible for the internal SOX controls in Deductions, ensuring a strong control environment and controls operating as designed.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Deduction Management & Resolution: Oversee and manage the deduction resolution process, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of customer deductions. Analyze deduction trends to identify root causes, corrective actions, and continuous process improvement opportunities. Collaborate with internal Sales and Logistics teams drive continuous improvement in accurate and timely deduction clearing. Ensure the customer dispute process is executed timely for unauthorized deductions with appropriate negotiation, monitoring, and follow through to final repayments. Ensure the accurate maintenance and records of deduction claims in High Radius (HRC) and SAP systems.
+ Reporting: Owner of all reporting for monthly accounting close including Deduction Hanging Balance and other reporting needs to support the monthly and quarterly financial statement close. Ensure MSP reporting for Deduction Management is monitored daily, owner of ensuring data integrity and highlighting issues as they arise. Utilize and maintain High Radius (HRC) and SAP systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting purposes. Maintain HRC and SAP systems as system administrator.
+ Owner of internal controls for Deduction Management, ensuring strong control environment and controls are operating as designed. Identifying any deficiencies early and developing a robust remediation plan and ensuring executed and monitored timely and completely.
+ Accountable for the performance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Deduction Management and developing and managing corrective actions as necessary. Proactive and daily monitoring of performance including SLAs and quality of operations through Business Operating Indicators.
+ Proactively identify challenges, issues and resolve escalated issues timely in accordance with defined protocol. Ensure these escalation matrices are updated frequently with new learnings and with a continuous improvement mindset. Escalate to OTC&C Order Management & Deduction Sr. Delivery Lead proactively.
+ Work collaboratively with MSP in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities that improves business outcomes, reduces manual work and simplifies processes.
+ Maintain strong relationship with MSP Deduction Managers, meeting regularly to identify gaps, prioritize, monitor performance and initiatives, understand current gaps and remediation plans.
**What we look for:**
+ 10+ years of total relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability interpret financial data and trends.
+ Strong understanding of US GAAP and how operations impacts the financial statements.
+ Proficient in SAP and Excel
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
+ Excellent communication and problem solving skills
+ Deduction management operations
+ High Radius (HRC) hands on experience
+ Consumer Packaged Goods industry
+ Experience overseeing an offshore MSP/ 3rd party provider

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $106,700 - $204,900
–Zone B: $97,800 - $187,900
–Zone C: $88,900 - $170,800
