Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by deburring parts and ensuring the smooth operation of various machines. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards and efficient workflows within our fabrication team.

ResponsibilitiesDeburr parts that are in process in production.Select, align, and secure holding fixtures and cutting tools for machine-dependent operations.Set up and operate machines such as hydraulic shear, chop saw, and forklift.Observe machine operation during first part production to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.Adjust machine controls or other control media as required.Use gauges, scales, calipers, mylars, blueprints, and customer tools to check first part quality.Essential Skills1-2 years of construction and/or heavy production experience for entry-level positions.3-5 years of sheet metal fabrication operator and/or heavy manufacturing experience for experienced positions.Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand and power tools.Experience using a tape measure and other measuring equipment, including gauges, scales, calipers, and mylars.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vista, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
