The Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team is part of the Deals Strategy & Operations business unit. It focuses on providing support for potential, actual transactions and assists clients in all operational integration aspects of the transaction, pre and post completion, including: Buy side operational, integration due diligence, including IT DD, Operations DD; Synergy development and review; Sell-side due diligence; Carve-out; Turnaround; Taking control and 100-day planning for operational and technology operations; Value creation plan; Mergers & Acquisitions Integration; Post-acquisition performance improvement.

Responsibilities 

As a Deals Senior Associate focused in Technology, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Support the preparation of IT Due Diligence and Red Flag reports, covering IT strategy, infrastructure, architecture, financials, and operating models 

Assist clients and internal teams with carve-out and integration assessments, with a focus on IT planning and execution

 Analyze existing (“As-Is”) IT operating models and design future-state (“To-Be”) models aligned with business needs 

Contribute to technology PMO support for deals, focusing on execution planning, risk management, and governance 

Identify potential IT synergies, risks, and integration issues, and evaluate their impact on deal timelines and functional readiness

Demonstrate strong domain knowledge across IT functions, systems, and infrastructure within M&A contexts 

Develop well-structured, analytical, and compelling client deliverables and reports 

Support business development efforts including proposal creation, capability building, and client presentations 

Own components of engagements and collaborate closely with team members to ensure timely and quality outcomes Research and analyze market and company-level technology insights to inform client recommendations

Requirements 

2+ years of experience in M&A, IT consulting, or the IT function of a large organization 

Proven track record of working on Technology Due Diligence, IT assessments, or IT transformation projects, ideally within the Financial Services sector(Banks, Fintech's, Insurance companies) is a plus 

Familiarity with technology carve-outs, integrations, and post-merger Day One readiness planning 

Experience in technology implementation or technology PMO within deal or transformation environments 

Broad understanding of the Financial Services ecosystem, including banking, fintech, or insurance, is a plus 

Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, tools, and infrastructure required to establish and scale IT functions 

Proficient with collaboration tools like Office 365  

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects within budget and timelines 

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to extract insights and understand business drivers 

Confident communicator with ability to engage senior clients and stakeholders 

Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow in a high-performance team environment 

Familiarity with digital and technology-enabled solutions to enhance delivery 

Willingness to travel 40%–60% based on client needs, with flexibility to support cross-border engagements
