Those in deal strategy at PwC will focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. Your work will involve analysing market trends, assessing business opportunities, and developing strategic frameworks to guide clients in making informed decisions regarding their deals. You will help clients navigate complex transactions, identify potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximise value and achieve their business objectives. Working in this area, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in formulating and executing effective strategies to optimise outcomes in their deal-making processes.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage operations projects related to Financial Services, including due diligence, M&A integration / carved-out planning, execution, and PMO management.Lead operational enhancement initiatives within the Financial Services sector.Engage in deal/M&A projects, providing strategic insights and implementation support.Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel and internal teams.Support operations alignment with strategic objectives in the post-merger phase.

Preferred Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.5-7 years of experience in consulting environments with exposure to deal/M&A projects in Financial Services sectors such as banking, multifinance, insurance, and / or wealth management.Strong analytical skills with proven stakeholder management capabilities.Experience in operational improvement and commercial due diligence within the FS sector.Ability to evaluate client capabilities and develop operating models.Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead a team.Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.Strong leadership abilities and a track record of driving successful project outcomes.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks within the FS sector.Ability to influence decision-making processes at various organizational levels.
