Dealer Network Portfolio Manager

At Stellantis, it is important for all our dealer partners to be successful in their business ventures to elevate brand representation and customer experience. Network Development prioritizes building a pool of qualified dealer candidates, offering entrepreneurial individuals the chance to join and enhance the Stellantis dealer network. The Dealer Network Portfolio Manager will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the prospect list of qualified candidates. The successful candidate will devise strategies, propose action plans, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to maximize reach within the automotive retail network and effectively promote awareness. This individual will also guide potential dealer candidates in providing relevant information for review and consideration. Additionally, the Dealer Network Portfolio Manager will work with Business Center Network Development team members to identify opportunities for qualified prospects, and if approved and appropriately placed, monitor and analyze their performance as Stellantis dealers.  

 

Key Responsibilities included but not limited to: 

Develop dealer candidate engagement strategies to maximize reach across the automotive retail network   Work with interested dealer candidates to collect information   Qualify, assess, and present new dealer candidates to Stellantis’s Business Center Dealer Network Teams within the field organization for consideration in potential buy/sell or new market establishment opportunities   Lead strategic initiatives and interactions with partner organizations, such as Chrysler Minority Dealer Association (CMDA) and National Association of Minority Automotive Dealers (NAMAD)   Work directly with Dealer Network Directors within the Business Centers to lead dealer performance discussions, and improvement strategies for the Dealer Network   Ensure established dealer network planning KPI measurements are consistently measured, transparently communicated, and adjusted as required  Manage performance benchmarks and provide clear directional  guidance to all stakeholders as required  

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Accounting.  5+ years experience working directly with dealers as District Manager with frequent exposure to General Managers / Dealer Principals   3+ years experience in Dealer Development and knowledge of dealer franchise structure   3+ years experience with Dealer Financial Statement analysis and Dealer Business Management    Excellent Communications Skills -- verbal and written    High level of professionalism: self-directed and motivated    Project/Time Management and Delivery skills to meet deadlines    Analytical and problem-solving skills   Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)    Must be willing to travel 25%   

  

Preferred  Qualifications 

MBA or similar post graduate work   Knowledge of COGNOS, Power BI, QlikSense or similar suite of analytics platform
