Delaware North Gaming is hosting a Dealer Training School for individuals interested in becoming a Table Games Dealer at Big Meadows Lodge in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. As a Dealer Training School participant, you will gain table game dealer knowledge, develop math and technical skills, and learn how to start an exciting career as a Table Games Dealer.

 

*It is important to have the understanding that even with successful completion of class there may not be an immediate opening for the position of dealer.

What will you do?

As a Dealer in Training you will be responsible to learn:

Basic understanding of the gaming industryHow to shuffle and place cardsHow to cut gaming chips, exchange currency for gaming chips, and identify chip denominationsRack maintenanceHand recognitionPayouts and odds for each gameHow to determine game rule winners and losersHow to control the pace of the gameHow to develop proper game security skillsHow to protect the integrity of games through observation and by following appropriate proceduresHow to identify unusual play habits
