Progress is looking for a Deal Desk Analyst for a newly formed Deal Desk Team, focused on working collaboratively with Sales, Legal, Operations, and Finance teams, you’ll be supporting the Global Sales organization acting as a sales-facing subject matter expert on process, policy, and deal  related matters.

In this role, you will:Act as liaison between sales and other key stakeholders involved in the deal structuring process (e.g., Sales Operations, Accounting, Order Management, Legal, Product Marketing, etc.)Coordinate response management as part of the RFx process.Develop best practices and training for Deal Desk request, reduce the number of rejected request and improve time from initiation to closure. Serve as a subject matter expert on non-standard deal requests, special pricing, operations, approval policies.Be the point of escalation/prioritization between sales and other key stakeholders as well as across different business units. Work with various stakeholders to simplify and automate specific types of Deal Desk requests.Operate within established SLAs ensuring timely delivery of fully approved and commercially sound offers/requests. Provide training and support to Sales related to the Deal Desk process.Your background:A positive, problem-solving, business-focused attitude with good judgment and ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.Have a strong ownership mentality, with proactive execution, strategic focus and good business acumen.Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to articulate verbally and written, willingness to appropriately explain difficult issues; ability to think quickly Self-motivated, critical thinker with prior experience with complex, cross functional execution across GTM, Legal, Finance. Prior experience in an RFx process management is an advantage. Experience with Responsive (or equivalent), Salesforce and MS ExcelAbility to work both independently and in a team environment Strong attention to detail and a consistently high level of accuracy.Experience in dealing with customer contracts is preferredIf this sounds like you and fits your experience and career goals, we’d be happy to chat.
