Deal Support Desk Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven Deal Support Desk Analyst to support our Deal Support Team (DST) by providing insights, improving processes, and enabling data-based decision-making. This role is critical to optimizing the Deal Support Team’s performance and accelerating operational efficiency across the revenue engine.

What You'll Do:

Business & Financial Analysis

Analyze key financial and operational data to identify trends, drivers, and improvement areas in our pricing, quoting and general deal structuring processes

Prepare variance analysis of expected vs. budget/forecast as it relates to selling deals at target revenue values and quantities and explain business drivers

Support ad-hoc financial reviews, investment cases, and strategic planning efforts to aid in the recommendation of profitable, healthy deals for Mimecast.

Sales Process Optimization

Evaluate and recommend refinement of the structuring and consequential quoting and order processing of orders to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Identify gaps that the Deal Support Team can address removing bottlenecks, or redundancies in the sales cycle

Project Tracking & Coordination

Track project milestones, deliverables, and action items across cross-functional teams to improve the interlock the DST team has with GTM, broader Finance, Product and Marketing teams

Support weekly status updates, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting

Documentation & Process Support

Maintain comprehensive project documentation (e.g., charters, status reports, risk logs)

Support the standardization of project management processes, tools, and templates for the DST

Assist with meeting coordination, note-taking, and follow-up communications

Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with FP&A, business units, and strategy teams to align financial models with business goals, specifically as it relates to deal structuring and friction removal.

Collaborate with Accounting, BI, and Data teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency

Support legal process improvement, pricing strategy, or systems improvement initiatives as needed to help the field structure, quote and process deals

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a quantitative discipline

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Clear and effective communicator with cross-functional teams

High degree of ownership and accountability

Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment

Comfortable in a fast-paced, data-rich environment with evolving priorities

The US base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 base + bonus + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonus, and other related benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
