As the Deal Operations Analyst, based in London, you will report into the Chief Commercial Operations team working closely with portfolio management, regional transaction teams, asset managers, and various internal stakeholders including risk, finance, tax, operations and legal to be across all operational, portfolio performance and administrative aspects of the IEC EMEA, and global, investment portfolio and pipeline. From pre investment deal execution requirements, to ongoing asset management and divestment execution requirements, you will also have the opportunity to work on strategic, transformation and operational initiatives that support IEC’s broader business. 
The responsibilities outlined cover a comprehensive range of tasks essential for effective deal management and asset oversight. Pre-deal compliance activities such as Know Your Customer (KYC) and conflict checks ensure regulatory and ethical standards are met before proceeding. The role involves end-to-end support for asset entity setup, including managing company incorporations, bank accounts, contracts, insurance, and director appointments, which are critical for establishing operational readiness. Asset and portfolio management responsibilities include regular reporting, performance reviews, financial and tax reporting, audits, and invoicing, which collectively ensure the ongoing health and compliance of assets. Maintaining deal-related data in Salesforce and supporting investment committee meetings highlight the importance of accurate data management and strategic decision-making. Additionally, interfacing with internal stakeholders across various departments such as risk, finance, tax, legal, and marketing, as well as contributing to senior leadership presentations, underscores the collaborative and cross-functional nature of the role.

• have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to bring together support from multiples teams, stakeholders and senior leaders to align and achieve common deal and asset objectives• be able to demonstrate strong planning and prioritization skills, with an ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, keeping visibility on urgency/importance and re-adjusting prioritization as needed• have a bias for action and strong problem solving & execution skills to find solutions to complex challenges • be able to drive progress autonomously, whilst developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment with highly commercial, talented individuals with high-bar expectations and have the ability to work well autonomously and under time pressure while managing a high workload, conflicting priorities and deadlines effectively• be resourceful and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team, both proactively and ensuring you react to business needs and consistently have the ability to prioritise the workload • be a positive and approachable individual with the willingness to go beyond the scope of the usual job description to deliver positive outcomes for the business• have advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce as a Transaction Management tool is a plus
