Deal Desk Analyst
**Sales Finance, Deal Desk Analyst** Position Summary: The Deal Desk Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization through the quote-to-cash process. This individual will partner closely with the Regional Sales Director and cross-functional teams—including Finance, Legal, and Operations—to structure compliant, profitable deals and ensure smooth deal execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities **:** + Serve as the primary liaison to the Regional Sales Director and sales team, offering recommendations for process improvements and ensuring accountability throughout the quote-to-booking cycle. + Review and structure complex sales deals to ensure alignment with internal policies, pricing guidelines, and compliance standards. + Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to support efficient quote-to-cash processes. + Prepare and present summaries with insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. + Maintain accurate deal and pricing data within CRM and CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce). + Monitor deal progress and facilitate timely approvals and closures. + Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, templates, and reporting tools. + Advise sales teams on complex deal structuring and best practices to optimize profitability. + Ensure adherence to internal guidelines related to contracts, pricing, and accounting. + Continuously drive improvements in contract cycle times, profitability metrics, and overall customer experience. + Analyze regional trends and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. + Participate in initiatives involving new pricing models, tools, and product implementations. + Support business transformation efforts and contribute to various ad hoc projects and reporting as needed. Required Knowledge and Skills **:** + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Working knowledge of finance and accounting principles. + Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and drawing meaningful insights. + Ability to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced environment. + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. + Comfortable collaborating across departments and working with diverse teams. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. + Ability to identify and recommend process and financial improvements. + Demonstrated ability to work across multiple functions and diverse personality styles. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, or a similar role. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with CRM and ERP tools (e.g., Salesforce, SAP). + Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools. + Prior experience supporting or collaborating with Sales or Operations teams Work Conditions: + Office-based position. + High-volume workload during peak business cycles.
