Job Description

GDS Digital Engineering Delivery Leader – Commercial Sectors

 

Position Summary

The continued growth of the GDS Digital Engineering business in the US super region, as well as increase in transformational large scale engagements in the region, requires additional leadership roles to help manage and drive the Next Wave of growth. There is a huge impetus on GDS to spearhead in developing, solutioning and owning holistic delivery in Digital Engineering which requires a dedicated PPED role to ensure non linear growth for the practice over the next 5 years. Expectation in FY26 and beyond is that there will be increased integration of GDS, upwards of 60%, and there will be many more large deals of size 10M and above . As Commercial sectors represent more than 50% of global business, increase in penetration in Commercial sectors will significantly improve GDS Digital business. Current headcount in this region is 800+. It is expected to grow to 1800 by FY27

 

Essential Functions of the job

 

Strong and assertive delivery leadership with focus on technical delivery excellence. Grow and sustain large, high-performing teams. Paint a compelling vision of the future, leverage storytelling and rally others with passion and purpose. Develop delivery-driven methodologies, assets, and accelerators. Continue to build on the business strategy, lead and drive the growth of the client services. Develop Business Case, Business KPIs, Benefits realization plan and measure KPIs. Leverage existing global Alliances and establish new (along with global stakeholders) Creative and Innovative in driving automation and accelerators that delivers value and differentiation in client engagements. Be a continuous learner, lead with questions, reflect, and listen for the art of the possible to spark bold new insights. Demonstrate thought leadership by active participation in Digital Engineering forums globally, including with analysts (Gartner/IDC) Build a diverse mix of team; play to each other’s strengths, coach, collaborate and build trust in a courageous manner to achieve collective goals. Embrace change and through self-awareness adapt behavior in diverse contexts. Have experience in developing strategies, plan, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of projects and products. Education & Experience

Minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field with 20+ years of experience. Graduate from top colleges is a huge plus Experience in management consulting and IT advisory consulting organizations is a huge plus Experience of managing practice/accounts with HC above 200+ would be a huge plus. Demonstrated record in driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the “C” level of Fortune 500 companies Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a matrixed organization and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering advisory services. Skills Requirements

Technology operations expertise in Digital Engineering Ecosystem, 20 years across roles spanning client delivery, innovation, solution architecting, people, and program management. At least last 10+ years in technical leadership roles Demonstrate strong consulting and delivery experience with extensive knowledge of digital engineering practices, including software development, DevOps, and cloud technologies, with proven ability to sell and execute large scale consulting engagements with a distributed delivery mindset Strong reputation in the talent market and the ability to build a strong & continuous talent pipeline, based on one’s reputation and prior successes. Competitive intelligence about Big4 and Digital skill landscape Specialized industry-sector experience in at least two or more commercial sectors relevant to EY like Consumer products & Retail, Technology, Media & Entertainment, Telecom, Advanced Manufacturing & Mobility, Oil and Gas
