Local Division Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tCommunicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.•\tEnsuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.•\tIdentifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.•\tManaging administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.Your Background:•\tBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.•\tRelevant coursework includes Process Control, Industrial Networking, Energy Systems, and Chemical Plant Operations.•\tMinimum of 3 years of work experience specializing in Industrial Automation and/or Power Systems.•\tAt least 2 years of experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals.•\tExperience working with local and global EPCs, delivering added value beyond simply fulfilling contract requirements.•\tFamiliarity with government bidding and tender processes, with proven experience working with government-owned companies.•\tBasic understanding of company financial reports.•\tExperience with DCS or PLC + SCADA is a strong advantage.
