System One is recruiting for a DCS Commissioning Specialist for Simple Cycle project in Fairfield, TX. The individual must have extensive T-3000 experience as a DCS commissioning specialist.
Commissioning DCS Roles & Responsibilities: Ensure all safety procedures are followed. Follow all SU procedures. Perform all Distributive Control System (DCS) commissioning activities and be accountable to the Site Commissioning Manager. Maintain DCS software. Perform DCS software logic changes per: Control System Change Management Procedure Startup Phase. Provide support to TFA support. Maintain log for jumper request, forced points, as well as logic change request. Tune Plant controls in preparation for plant performance testing. Work with DCS installation representatives to monitor installation of DCS to ensure adherence to manufacturers recommendations. Assist Mechanical Lead in performing check-out and commissioning of systems. Maintain updated Red-Line/As-Built drawings and documentation, ensuring that all modifications documented are tracked through completion both in the field and on all records. Resolve control problems. Work with I&C Lead in updating I/O database. Work with I&C and Electrical Leads in shooting loops. Maintain loop verification database. Elevate issues to DCS Lead in a timely manner. Develop action plan to address any issues. Work with operations staff to verify alarm priorities and execute alarm management. Read and adhere to Startup Administration Manual Attend meetings as assigned by DCS Lead
