High school diploma or G.E.D. requiredWork Experiences:
5+ years of related work experience. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.Skills:
Communication – effective listening, speaking and writingAbility to resolve issues in a calm, professional mannerAnalyze problems in a high-pressure environmentAble to prioritizeAnalytical skillsStrong attention to detailsParts inventory and ordering experienceInterpersonal skills that promote collaboration with maintenance team, operations team and outside vendorsComputer (Excel, Word, Lotus Notes)Responsibilities:
Supervise and provide direction to Distribution Center Maintenance team members to include overseeing schedules and work distributionAssist manager with establishing good working relationshipsDelegate work assignments and advise team members of techniques to be used to complete assignmentsTrack the timeliness and accuracy of the assigned tasksDetermine the type of materials, supplies, machinery or tools to be used for assignmentsMaintain working knowledge of fire/burglary alarm systems, layout and operations for the Distribution Center and office facilityRespond to maintenance related issues and fire/burglar alarmsAssist in providing a safe and hostile free work environment for all team members in the Distribution Center and office facility.Assist with training of other Maintenance team members Provide support for the entire facility with focus on development and maintenance of standard operating proceduresPerform scheduled inspections and maintenance, and troubleshooting of all material handling systems’ electrical and controls componentsTroubleshoot and repair all material handling systemsRespond to and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner; may require 24-hour availability for emergency responseAssist in the purchase of spare parts and components necessary to minimize system downtimeContact equipment manufacturers for updates, upgrades, and technical support informationMaintain equipment maintenance and repair logsMaintain facility, campus, building, and material storageMaintain working knowledge and troubleshooting of fire protection systemsRequired to learn company policies, procedures and safety rulesDuties may change; Team Member may be required to perform other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements & Attendance
