Job Description
The Supervisor, Shop supervises repairs/inspections of equipment according to department policies and applicable laws. This position supervises assigned technicians work assignments, and performs technical inspections, operational procedures, technical training, and safety operations/procedures for the shop.
Responsibilities Plan, assign, direct, and appraise work.Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.Manage shop operations in compliance with the applicable unionized labor agreement(s).Address equipment complaints and resolve problems.Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements
Education:Associate's Degree, preferredExperience:Experience and/or training in equipment maintenance, preferredLeadership experience preferred.Computer Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, requiredCompetencies:Accuracy and Attention to DetailCoaching OthersEffective CommunicationsManaging Multiple PrioritiesProblem SolvingProducing ResultsPurchasing Tasks and ActivitiesVendor Management
Other Details
Work Hours:Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.Compensation:This is a salary position paid biweekly.Variable compensation is included.
