1st shift Hours: 6am-230pm, Monday- Friday 

 

Job Summary

The Powered Equipment Operator is responsible for safely handling and maneuvering Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift or other machinery within the DC. 

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities: 

Promptly moves pallets and other items needing movement to assigned dock doors as directed by DC PersonnelOperates all machinery in a safe manner at all timesPerforms daily check of machineryReports any mechanical irregularities to DC Managers at oncePerforms all duties in a safe, accurate and timely mannerMaintains a clean work area at all timesAdheres to all Safety rules and regulationsConducts other duties as required and assigned Assists in other warehouse functions as directed

                

Qualifications & Competencies:

High School Diploma or GED equivalencyMinimum 1 year of related experience a plus Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsMust be able to pass equipment certification test and show proficiency in driving equipmentAbility to lift 50 pounds unassisted.Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment (cold & heat)Some overtime required including weekend work
